Mode of action

After dilution the salt dissociates and the glyphosate anion is the active entity. It inhibits EPSP synthase in the shikimic acid pathway, halting synthesis of aromatic amino acids. Death follows in 4-20 days, moving from meristem to root. The isopropylamine group itself improves uptake speed, giving faster and more rainfast results than sodium-salt formulations.
